The activities carried out by the DA research unit contributed in an integrated and complementary way to the objectives of Spoke 4 of the CHANGES project. The research activities were conducted with the aim of promoting an interdisciplinary approach integrating digital heritage, immersive technologies, design, accessibility, and participation.

On the one hand, research on digital heritage, digital twins, and immersive narratives supported the development of advanced technologies for the preservation and enhancement of cultural heritage; on the other hand, research focused on design, participation, and accessibility fostered innovative models for audience engagement and inclusion.

Overall, the activities carried out strengthened Spoke 4’s vision aimed at the digital transformation of cultural heritage, promoting replicable methodologies, cultural sustainability, and new forms of museum experience based on the integration of technologies, content, and user-centered design.
