Studying at DA
Programmes designed to develop solid competencies, guide career choices, explore interests and nurture passions.
The study programmes offered by the Department of Architecture - DA cover the fields of architecture, engineering and design and address design through diverse approaches, operating across different scales of intervention: from products and services to buildings, and from the city to the landscape and the built heritage.
Through workshops, design projects, seminars, outreach initiatives and opportunities for dialogue with professionals, businesses, institutions and communities, the Department carries out activities in education, experimentation, dissemination and the transfer of knowledge, integrating scientific, technical and design skills.
An interdisciplinary approach equips students to tackle the complexity of contemporary transformations and to design innovative, sustainable and inclusive spaces, buildings, products and services, with a focus on quality of life and environmental, social, cultural and technological challenges.
