The event is part of the scientific collaboration between the University of Bologna and the University of Tokyo on the theme of the twin transitions — ecological and digital transitions in urban contexts — coordinated by the Department of Philosophy and the Department of Architecture in collaboration with the Department of Urban Engineering, School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo. The KYŌSŌ 共創 project, “Co-Creating Twin Transitions,” aims to develop innovative co-creation methodologies for urban transition through the comparison of European and Japanese case studies, integrating participatory approaches with digital technologies. The morning program offers a dialogue between Italian and Japanese design research on climate adaptation, hosted in the spaces of the Fondazione Golinelli.
