Role, appointment and list

Subject matter experts are experts and scholars who have acquired experience and expertise in a documentary discipline, although they are not lecturers or researchers.

Subject Experts collaborate in teaching activities, particularly during exams and thesis discussions. The activities related to the role of Subject Expert are carried out on a voluntary basis and do not entitle the individual to any compensation.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBJECT EXPERTS AND FORM DOCUMENTATION


The Guidelines for appointing Subject Experts from personnel outside the University’s staff, approved by the Department Council on 11/10/2023, regulate the procedures for the appointment of Subject Experts at the Department of Architecture.

Appointments are made through a resolution by the Study Program Council that oversees the teaching.

The proposal for granting the Subject Expert title, to be drafted according to the attached form, must be addressed to the Study Program Coordinator by a tenured professor or a course holder with teaching responsibilities, with the consent of the individual concerned.

The title of Subject Expert is valid for one year. The proposing professor can request its renewal, subject to verification that the requirements are still met.
