ARTEMIS has officially launched!

On 11-12 February 2025, we kicked off ARTEMIS, a European Commission funded project set to revolutionise cultural heritage conservation.

Bringing together 22 partners from 12 countries, ARTEMIS will develop a groundbreaking digital infrastructure to support restoration, preservation, and research through Reactive Heritage Digital Twins (RHDT).

RHDTs are intelligent digital replicas that analyse, react, and predict risks to monuments and artefacts, enabling experts to test restoration strategies in a virtual environment before applying them to real-world heritage sites. With access to 4M+ scientific reports, advanced visualisation, and simulation tools, ARTEMIS provides a smarter, safer approach to conservation.

This Kick-off Meeting marked the beginning of an ambitious journey to reshape how we protect and interact with our cultural heritage. Stay tuned for updates as we move forward!
