BECK project aims to improve the quality of education on the issues of energy efficiency and climate change in a circular economy perspective. By acting on human resources, it focuses on strategies for the environmental protection, including through actions for the conservation of heritage buildings.

Within an international network of experts and institutions, composed of 14 partners, the purpose of BECK is to transfer the approach of advanced European practices on energy efficiency and climate change to universities in Russia, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, with a specific reference to the 20-20-20 targets.

In order to achieve the established goals, BECK will update curricula in the involved Asian countries through the implementation of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), characterized by a multicultural and multidisciplinary approach which gives attention to the global market and international cooperation.
