Department series

The Department of Architecture promotes a programme of publications through the publishing series "Collana del Dipartimento di Architettura" published since 2014 by Bononia University Press; previously, from 2011 to 2013, the publications promoted by the Department were part of the "Collana Ricerca - Saggi di architettura" (Edizioni Bruno Mondadori).

The Department of Architecture Series, published by Bononia University Press, brings together the most original and interesting results of the research activities (PhDs, national and international research projects, exhibitions, workshops) and hosts contributions by distinguished external scholars within the subject areas and scientific disciplines of the DA.

Volumes published as part of the series are subject to rigorous scientific scrutiny: each proposal is assessed in advance by a Scientific Committee, which decides whether to submit it for peer-to-peer reading by Italian and foreign readers of high standing: publication is conditional on a favourable assessment following the 'blind peer review' procedure.
