Photography Laboratory

The Photography Laboratory provides support for the teaching activities of the degree courses, the PhD in Architecture and Design Cultures and the DA's laboratories (filming and reproductions), for events organised by the DA (photo/video filming), and for the transfer of knowledge through teaching. It also promotes and carries out internal photo campaigns for DA research projects in collaboration with other organisations/institutions and for third parties.

Enlargers for printing small and medium format negatives, accompanying equipment (trays, negative developing tanks, clamps, etc.); digital printer; shooting equipment (tripods, medium and large format analogue cameras, digital cameras)

Access mode:

Access granted to lecturers, students and undergraduates of the DA (Cesena campus) subject to authorisation by the LaFo manager. Use of the darkroom is only permitted in the presence of the course lecturer or tutor 

Activity performed

Photographic reproductions of models and drawings, negative development and printing of b/w photographs, image processing and calibration, digital printing, production of small booklets, guided photo shoots (teaching), photo and video shoots of events organised by the DA and in collaboration with other organisations/institutions (exhibitions, conferences)
