Call: -

The work of the research group focuses on disseminating knowledge of Armenian Cultural Heritage, developing strategies for its preservation and capacity building activities. The Cultural Heritage has in fact contributed over the centuries to affirm and preserve the national identity and the cultural tradition of Armenian people, a legacy that today faces the lack of skills, shortage of resources and widespread risk conditions of the area. Pursuing a wide-ranging interdisciplinary approach, the work of the group aims at creating a stable network with local authorities, institutions and professionals to define training programs for local specialists, transferring skills and working methods. The aim is to support the realization of accurate studies on Cultural Heritage - including historiographic research, digital surveys of the built environment and advanced diagnostic investigations - up to the definition of strategies for its protection, enhancement and management, also resorting to contemporary digital storytelling technologies.
