The Laboratory involves the collection of building materials and components to support teaching and research; the collection of documentation on international research; the development of innovative research in the field of architectural technology, and with a transdisciplinary approach; the transfer of experience and knowledge in the field of architectural technology to the operational level. The laboratory also provides support for the research activities of the PhD programme in Architecture and Design Cultures.
