The Planning&Regeneration research group deals with global and local challenges such as urban and rural regeneration, environmental sustainability and nature-based solutions, sustainable mobility, access to housing, social inclusion, participation, governance models. The research group works with many local authorities, supporting their regeneration strategies, and is particularly active in the field of European projects thanks to an extensive international network of cooperation with and involvement in numerous research projects.
The main research concerns the following areas: urban and rural regeneration, sustainable mobility, social sustainability, resilient and healthy cities.
