Icaro is an international project that aims to train a new generation of construction technicians, able to respond to the challenges imposed by new technologies and the new regulatory framework in the building sector. There is a need for a generational change, orienting young people and the unemployed towards qualified professions. Gender issues will also be central to the project: only 10% of vocational graduates in the construction sector are women. We want this percentage to rise rapidly.

The Icaro project will have a positive impact on youth employment by promoting high-quality training that is attractive and relevant to the labour market.
